Our
Story
Wonderdom Publishing was created in 2021 out of the desire to support independent authors and to provide content for educators in search of resources relating to the humanities. We are committed to the idea that reading fiction is never transactional and that the reader actively engages in meaning-making through imaginal and critical interactions with the text. Our creators and products have been cultivated to encourage readers to imagine widely, imagine deeply, and imagine freely.
Iva M. Viddal, Director
Iva is the author of the juvenile gothic fantasy, The Girl with a Spoon for a Soul, and founder of Wonderdom Publishing. She is a lifelong, avid reader and writer whose studies in anthropology and the humanities (literature, philosophy, and social history) inform her both her writing and her approach to education. As a mother and homeschooler, she seeks to create content for other educators and parents who hope to foster the development of critical thinking and imagination through the world of stories.
